Long live the Queen.....

And they are back... With a bang. After years of dominance,be it politics, sports or economy, they slowly faded away in oblivion! Too big to fail they said. But slowly and steadily they had to retreat & retire to their side of the English channel.

And then we entered year 2013...The 'Britzkreig' ...My boss at work, wen on a con call with Americans & Indians quipped in her typical Londoner accent, 'aah, scoot over gentlemen... We are back... Dominated the Olympics,Won d Wimbledon crown, Tour de France & now celebrated the most awaited birth after Jesus' haha!! They know their diplomacy lessons...The casual way by which the 'Brit' boss hammered in her point is what makes them stand apart.
Their accent & their charisma has a lot to do with their rising stature in society. I'm yet to come across an introvert islander who retreats to his/her own shell. From Murray's magic to Prince George's fan following... I look forward to drench myself in the royal treatment that Britishers are known to give their guests.

Totally stoked to work with our London office for the next month or so. Adios amigos, for within the next few hours wen d london markets open I'll be deep into crunching numbers and 'sliding' my way through marimekko charts. Much on a sticky wicket, ehh??

Back in Action!

It's been a long long time since i posted something, or let my heart speak out. Today, just staring outside at the naked tree, the damp moist weather that's enveloping Ames made me write a few words... Then i realized... I do have a blog! So lets get this engine back and running!

It's been a long arduous journey.... A journey of Dreams.... It's weird how volatile dreams are. They transcend you to a different world when you are motivated but when reality hits, you are back to square one... The common mans life! The life that most of us hate to be a part of, the life that beats you down, stares at you and says "you ain't man enough, you just can't do it" THAT life!!

Rocky Balboa! ehh? This happens in a movie, can we emulate it in real life? Its a classic conundrum that we face! I happened to be in Chicago for New Years. Standing atop the sky deck gave a flicker of hope to my dreams. Yes, it is possible. Yes i can reach that goal i have set for myself. It can be a year later or it can be a decade later, but where there is hope there is life.
The struggle for any individual is to catapult himself from the Bourgeoisie class! How he does it, or when he does it is just a matter of time! Anyway, thinking a lot on this topic won't get me anywhere! so i am off working on my Decision Analysis assignment for the week! (yes i love it, i hate Data Analytics class though) . But someday in the near future, i will take up a course in philosophy! A classic way to feed the mongrels inside our brain which keep shouting! Adios! and see ya soon!
